Requirements

We publish three different types of interviews, and each has its own set of requirements that must be met in order to qualify for a featured interview.

Must have a business that generates at least $100,000 per year in revenue. Disclosing your revenue and profit in the interview is optional, but encouraged. These interviews serve as insightful case studies from which readers can learn.

There’s no minimum revenue requirement for startups. Blogs and niche sites are not eligible. The business must have a product or service and should have a story worth sharing. These interviews aim to showcase the story behind the business, why it was created, the founder’s vision, and who it serves.

The business must have been in operation within the past five years (could have been started at any time). The purpose is to show readers real-world examples of businesses that didn’t survive and to highlight what led to their failure.

Our Selection & Interview Process

If your business meets these basic qualifications and you’d like to do an interview for our site, please email info@founderreports.com. Briefly tell us about your business, what type of interview (from the three options above) you’d like to do, and what readers will gain from your story.

The interview process is very simple. We know your time is valuable and we aim to keep everything as easy as possible while creating content that will help readers and allow you to shine.

We’ll send you the interview questions and some basic prompts or guides for answering the questions. When you’re done, you’ll send it back to us, and provide us with a photo of yourself that we can use with the interview and for promotions. We’ll let you know when it’s published (turnaround time depends on the volume of interviews we’re receiving at that time). We recommend checking our editorial policy before submitting an interview.
